Every year during Spring Break, we send 12 of our MS Alpha brothers to Cabo San Lucas Mexico to attend the American Leadership Academy (ALA). The ALA is a week long leadership workshop created by several of Phi Kappa Psi's extremely successful alumni. The workshop seminars cover topics such as negotiation, leadership qualities and development, success, professional etiquette and behavior, and Chapter operations and development topics. Along with 150 other Phi Psi's from around the nation on the same week of spring break, our 12 brothers will attend the ALA discussions from 9am to 12pm every day and stay at a 5-star hotel built just for Phi Kappa Psi. Meals and access to shuttles are also provided. After the days activities are over, the brothers are free to enjoy the wonderful town of Cabo San Lucas!

Founded in 1852, Phi Kappa Psi has grown to a brotherhood of over 104,000 initiates and over 70,000 living alumni, forming a network of members that spans the generations and the nation. Known throughout the country as a fraternity of gentlemen, Phi Kappa Psi invites college men of different origins, backgrounds, and beliefs to strive for intellectual, moral, and spiritual excellence. Each of the 85 local chapters of Phi Kappa Psi at colleges and universities across the country is part of a much larger picture.
The national fraternity provides educational leadership retreats and seminars for chapter officers as well as individual members. The Woodrow Wilson Leadership School is offered during the summer in alternate years, and attracts over 300 undergraduate members. The national fraternity also conducts seminars annually for local chapter presidents and for the officers responsible for pledge education programs. The President's Leadership Academy helps new officers with personal skills development and chapter management issues. The Fraternity Educator's Leadership Academy helps new officers with personal development as well as providing continuity through a national pledge education program.
